BAR MANAGER

We’re looking for an experienced FULL TIME – Bar Manager – Mixologist to join our talented team at ROAST. Lively, fun and stylish, the bar offers premium brands, world wines and designer cocktails mixed with high-energy entertainment. A hidden gem located in the heart of Borough Market with an overall feel of a members bar without the membership.

The role:

  • Assist with new product development to drive sales
  • Work and coach
  • Provide prompt, exceptional, courteous friendly & fun service
  • Remain up to date on new trends, competitors & innovation
  • This is a hands on role, you must be ready to work with your teams on the ground

The person:

  • Lively, edgy, fun and ready to hit the ground running
  • Familiar with the Lounge Bar/Club customer base in a similar environment
  • Possess strong people management skills in a high pressured environment
  • Not afraid of having fun and truly immersing yourself in the experience.
  • Able to deal with last minutes challenges and problem solve quickly
  • Innovative and not afraid of change – able to bring everyone on the journey with you

Job Type: 
Full-time (48h contract)

Salary:
£40,000.00-£50,000.00 per year

Experience:
Bar management: 3 years (required)

SOUS CHEF

We’re looking for a FULL-TIME Sous Chef to join our talented team at ROAST. The restaurant will reopen on the 7th of September after refurbishment.

Trial at ROAST: 1 shift trial required following the interview

The role:

  • Managing the Main Kitchen and team
  • Menu development
  • Support the Head Chef and manage the chefs
  • Working to multi AA rosette level standard

The person:

  • Already a Sous Chef
  • Experience ideally to rosette levels in 4 or 5* luxury hotel or restaurant
  • Career focused and team player
  • Wanting to learn and develop skills under talented Head Chef

Job Type: 
Full-time

Salary: 
£45,000.00 per year + bonus

Experience:
Kitchen: 3 years (required)

PASTRY SOUS CHEF

We’re looking for a FULL-TIME Pastry Sous Chef to join our talented team at ROAST. This is an opportunity to join a busy high end property and produce pastry products for the fine dining restaurant and afternoon teas.

Trial at ROAST: 1 shift trial required following the interview

The role:

  • Managing the Main Kitchen and team
  • Menu development
  • Support the Head Chef and manage the chefs
  • Working to multi AA rosette level standard

The person:

  • Already a Sous Chef
  • Experience ideally to rosette levels in 4 or 5* luxury hotel or restaurant
